Dr Rashi Gupta
Dr Rashi Gupta is the Principal Dentist at Norlane Dental Aesthetics & Implants and has been practising dentistry for more than 24 years. She has worked across a number of practices throughout Melbourne, including the Royal Dental Hospital, gaining broad experience across modern general, restorative and surgical dentistry.
Dr Gupta has a particular interest in advanced restorative work — including cosmetic dentistry and smile design, and dental implants — as well as in helping patients who feel anxious about dental treatment feel more at ease. She is a committed believer in continuing professional education and has travelled internationally, particularly to the United States, to further her training in cosmetic and implant dentistry.
She completed the Master Clinician Program in Implant Dentistry at the Loma Linda University School of Dentistry in Los Angeles, along with advanced courses in sinus elevation and grafting and the aesthetic management of soft-tissue recession. Her implant training includes full-arch restoration using a graftless, fixed full-arch approach (All-on-X), the MIS Esparza Implant Program completed in Colombia, and the ACGP Oral Implants Post-Graduate Diploma.
Dr Gupta also completed Fellowship of the International College of Continuing Dental Education in ‘Orthodontics in General Practice’ with honours. She is a member of the Australian Dental Association and the Australian Society of Implant Dentistry, and mentors other dentists in implant dentistry through ImplanTalk, her continuing-education platform.
Outside the practice, Dr Gupta enjoys spending time with her family, running for fitness, and travelling.

Dr Neil Vijayaraj

Dr Neil Vijayaraj is a Senior Dentist whose career spans more than 28 years. Since graduating in 1995, he has worked across diverse healthcare settings in India, New Zealand and Australia, in both hospital and private-practice environments — experience that has given him a broad understanding of patient needs.
Central to his approach is creating a calm, comfortable environment. Recognising that dental anxiety can be a barrier to care, he places a high priority on helping patients feel relaxed and supported throughout treatment.
Dr Neil is committed to continuing education and integrating contemporary techniques and technology into his work. Alongside cosmetic and implant dentistry, he has a particular interest in full-mouth rehabilitation, and has completed training in implants — including All-on-X, zygomatic implants and full-mouth reconstruction — with respected clinicians internationally.
Away from the clinic, Dr Neil is a keen traveller and enjoys tennis, snooker, and exploring different cuisines.

Dr Jeremy Parry

Dr Jeremy Parry brings close to 7 years of dental practice to the team. Originally from New Zealand, he graduated from the University of Otago and has built broad experience across general dentistry, including crown and bridge work, root canal therapy, extractions and implants. He has a particular focus on more complex surgical procedures, especially those involving wisdom teeth and impacted teeth.
Beyond dentistry, Dr Parry has a wide range of interests and earlier qualifications in both music and microbiology, reflecting a curiosity for lifelong learning. In his early twenties he spent time as a full-time singer-songwriter in the UK.
An avid sports enthusiast, he follows rugby league and remains a keen — if self-described imperfect — golfer. He also shares an interest in the breeding and racing of horses with his father.

Dr Mehak Chopra

Dr Mehak Chopra completed her Bachelor of Dental Studies in 2009, followed by a Master of Dental Surgery with a background in periodontics. Originally from India, she worked as both a clinician and an academic before completing the Australian Dental Council examinations to practise in Australia.
Dr Mehak has a strong interest in periodontal (gum) health and takes care to treat and maintain the gums comprehensively, with an emphasis on patient education and oral-hygiene practices. She also enjoys cosmetic dentistry and orthodontics, and works with a prevention-focused, holistic philosophy. She places great importance on gentle, comfort-focused care to help ease patient anxiety, and keeps her skills current through ongoing continuing education.
Outside dentistry, Mehak values time with her husband and two sons, and enjoys travel, learning and family life.

Dr Narender Kaur

Dr Narender Kaur is an Associate Dentist with a broad general-dentistry skill set. After completing her Bachelor of Dental Surgery in India in 2015, she worked in a multispecialty clinic before moving to Australia in 2018 and practising across regional Victoria. Her work includes comprehensive examinations, cleans, fillings, root canal treatment, crowns and bridges, veneers, dentures, routine and surgical extractions, and teeth whitening.
She has a particular interest in the safe removal of amalgam (silver) fillings following the SMART protocol, reflecting her focus on patient safety and contemporary practice. She is also experienced in caring for anxious patients, using approaches such as nitrous oxide (laughing gas) to help patients — including children — feel more comfortable.
To practise in Australia, Dr Kaur completed further study with the Australian Dental Council, finishing her Bachelor of Dental Sciences in 2022. A multilingual communicator fluent in English, Hindi and Punjabi, she enjoys gardening and time with family, friends and her pets outside of work.

Dr Damien Zhao

Dr Damien Zhao has a strong focus on clinical orthodontics, working toward both functional and aesthetic outcomes for children and adults. Alongside routine treatments such as braces, clear aligners, growth modification and early intervention, he manages more complex orthodontic cases — including surgical orthodontics in collaboration with oral and maxillofacial surgeons, orthodontic bone regeneration prior to implant placement, and CAD/CAM-assisted orthodontics.
He has a particular interest in early orthodontic screening and the management of younger children, aiming through timely intervention to guide facial and dental development conservatively and reduce the future likelihood of extractions or jaw surgery in suitable cases.
Dr Damien graduated with honours from the University of Melbourne, completing a Bachelor of Biomedicine with First Class Honours followed by a Doctor of Dental Surgery, with his work recognised through several academic awards. He has since trained extensively in orthodontics with experienced clinicians and remains committed to contemporary orthodontic practice.
A multilingual communicator fluent in English and Mandarin, his interests outside the clinic include music, fencing and interior design.

Dr Ziad Atalla

Dr Ziad Atalla is a dedicated and compassionate dentist with a strong interest in comprehensive general dentistry and patient-centred care. Since graduating from Griffith University on the Gold Coast, Dr Ziad has focused on building a broad clinical skill set across restorative dentistry, simple endodontic treatment, periodontal care, extractions, and prosthodontics, including both fixed and removable prostheses.
With a keen interest in periodontics and prosthodontics, Dr Ziad is committed to ongoing professional development and is actively seeking further training in advanced treatments, including dental implants. He believes in a staged and responsible approach to dentistry and values working within a multidisciplinary team to ensure patients receive the highest standard of care before progressing to more complex procedures such as orthodontics or implants.
Dr Ziad is particularly passionate about guiding patients through their oral health journey, taking the time to educate and empower them to make informed decisions about their treatment. His calm and respectful manner makes him especially attentive to patients who experience dental anxiety, ensuring they feel heard, supported, and comfortable throughout their visits.
Known for his keen eye for detail, Dr Ziad takes pride in helping patients achieve healthy, functional smiles that align with their individual goals and expectations. He treats every patient with genuine respect and care, believing that trust and communication are fundamental to successful outcomes.
Outside the clinic, Dr Ziad is a proud Geelong Cats supporter and enjoys maintaining an active lifestyle through gym training and swimming. His balanced approach to health and wellbeing carries through into his philosophy of dental care-focused on longevity, function, and patient confidence.

Dr Prerana

Dr Prerana is a general dentist with a special interest in cosmetic and restorative dentistry. Practising since 2009, she focuses on supporting patients toward healthy, confident smiles through modern, evidence-based care.
After completing a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2009, she undertook the Australian Dental Council examinations to practise in Australia and has since worked in general practice across diverse patient settings. Her clinical interests include cosmetic dentistry (crowns, veneers and smile makeovers), the restorative stages of dental implant treatment, wisdom-tooth extractions including more complex surgical cases, clear-aligner therapy, and comprehensive general dentistry for patients of all ages.

Dr Albert Chan

Dr Albert Chan graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Melbourne and has gained experience treating patients across both the public and private sectors in regional and metropolitan NSW and Victoria.
Dr Albert is dedicated to providing personalised and holistic care, with a foundation built upon patient comfort and technical proficiency. Understanding that visiting the dentist can sometimes feel overwhelming, he prioritises effective communication, empathy, and building strong connections to foster a comfortable and stress-free environment for his patients.
Dr Albert enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and with a special interest in implant dentistry. He has completed multiple courses in implants and has received mentorship from Australia’s most renowned implantologists. He is a keen believer in continual education and regularly attends continuing professional development courses to stay up to date with the latest developments in the industry to further his skills.
Dr Albert is a multilingual communicator, fluent in both Mandarin and Cantonese. Beyond his dental pursuits, he also enjoys maintaining an active lifestyle through playing soccer and tennis in his spare time.
