A minimally invasive solution with a fixed full-arch restoration for patient satisfaction

Can only four implants replace all of the teeth on the upper or the lower jaws? Thanks to modern dental implant technology, the answer is YES.

Believe it or not, tooth loss is remarkably widespread among adults, especially as we age. Many people are missing all of their teeth in the upper and/or lower jaw arches.

Rather than living with the discomfort and hassles of wearing removable dentures, many people are choosing what is called “all-on-four®” dental implant restoration.

All-on-4® treatment concept is a cost-effective, graftless solution that provides patients with a fixed full-arch prosthesis on the surgery day.

The All-on-4® treatment concept characteristics include:

Full-arch rehabilitation with only four implants
Two straight front implants and two implants tilted up to 45º in the rear.

On-the-spot function (fixed provisional bridge)
Suitable for patients meeting criteria for quick placement of implants.

Graftless process
Bone grafting is bypassed by tilting the posterior implants, utilising available bone.

Why would 98% of All-on-4® patients recommend the treatment concept?

Rapid improvement in the quality of life

A fixed full-arch prosthesis on the day of the surgery quickly leads to improved patient satisfaction regarding function, aesthetics, sense, speech, and self-confidence.

Shorter treatment times

Inclination of the rear implants avoids the need for time-consuming bone grafting procedures, while immediate loading shortens time-to-teeth.

Less expensive

The treatment concept is the least costly in comparison with conventional implant treatment modalities of the edentulous and soon-to-be edentulous jaw.

All-on-4®: 1 full-arch of teeth, four dental implants

To fully understand this technique for replacing missing teeth, you should first know what dental implants are.

Implants are small titanium screw-like structures that fit inside your jawbone and replace the root of a missing tooth.

Minor surgery is needed to place the implants. After the implants are placed, crowns are attached to give you a highly natural-looking and functional replacement tooth.

Here’s where it gets fascinating: You do not need dental implants for each and every missing tooth.

All you need is four well-placed implants on the upper arch, and four on the lower arch, to restore your full smile.

That’s the beauty of the all-on-four®. And because the implants are made of titanium, they have the unique ability to fuse to the existing bone and function as part of it.

So eventually, the dental implants become parts of the jawbone and serve as strong, long-lasting foundations for your new teeth.

Aside from ensuring that your implants are permanently fixed in place, this bone fusion has another benefit: it helps prevent future bone loss in the jaw.

This helps to maintain more youthful facial features—and better oral health. But perhaps the greatest surprise about the all-on-four® is how fast it can transform your life.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does the All-on-four® procedure take?

You can have a new smile within 2-4 weeks of the initial consultation! However, depending on your case, we can now get your new smile fitted in a week.

How long does All-on-four® last?

Once osseointegration has taken place, dental implants are permanent solutions and should remain in place for the rest of your life. The bridge however, is not that long-lived. We offer a selection of bridges from ‘long term temporary’ bridges that last up to 5 years to more permanent bridges that last 15+ years).

What do my bones have to do with the procedure?

As with conventional implants, a certain level of jawbone structure is required to hold the dental implant in place – a process referred to as osseointegration.

Patients with severe bone deterioration may not be qualified for dental implants, especially with traditional implants that only hold only one tooth each.
