Common Dental Emergencies We Treat
What to Do in a Dental Emergency
✅ Toothache or swelling: Rinse with warm salt water, take over-the-counter pain relief, and call us immediately.
✅ Knocked-out tooth: Handle the tooth by the crown, rinse gently, place it back in the socket (if possible) or in milk, and seek urgent care within 30 minutes.
✅ Broken tooth: Rinse your mouth, apply gauze if bleeding, use a cold compress, and contact us.
✅ Lost crown or filling: Keep the area clean and avoid chewing on it until we can restore it.
Why Choose Norlane for Emergency Dental Care?
Don’t Delay – Early Action Makes All the Difference
Delaying treatment during a dental emergency can lead to infection, tooth loss, or more complex (and costly) procedures. Trust Norlane Dental to treat you promptly and professionally when it matters most.
National Cabinet approves the move to Level 1 restrictions.
On 8 May 2020, National Cabinet approved a move to Level 1 restrictions for dentistry.
Under Level 1 restrictions, ALL DENTAL SERVICES CAN BE PROVIDED (as long as dental practice applies standard precautions for people who do not meet epidemiological and clinical risk factors for COVID-19 infection transmission).
Norlane Dental Aesthetics and Implants remains vigilant in its application of Level 1 restrictions and ensures the safety of our dental team and patients.
